About StarTech 16L6B-PRIVACY-SCREEN

The StarTech 16L6B-PRIVACY-SCREEN is a bright privacy filter designed for compatible 16-inch laptop displays with a 16:10 aspect ratio. Its Micro-louver technology helps keep screen content visible to the person directly in front of the display while darkening the view from the sides.

Unlike standard privacy filters, this model offers up to 75% light transmittance, helping maintain screen brightness while protecting sensitive information. Independent third-party testing confirms 47% blue-light reduction in the 380–450 nm wavelength range.

The flip-over mounting design makes collaboration convenient by allowing the filter to be moved behind the display when you need to share content. Its ultra-thin construction preserves touchscreen responsiveness on compatible laptops. Installation is supported through adhesive strips, mounting tabs, or flip-over tabs, making it suitable for compatible bezel-less and slim-bezel screens.

This model is also TAA compliant, making it suitable for applicable procurement requirements.
