It features a Broadcom SAS3816 controller, four Mini-SAS HD SFF-8644 x4 ports, and a PCIe Gen4 x8 interface.

The card supports 12Gb/s SAS, 6Gb/s SATA, and PCIe NVMe tri-mode connectivity. Its four wide ports provide flexible storage expansion and support multipath or link aggregation configurations for improved data transfer load balancing and service continuity. Compatible configurations can daisy-chain up to 16 TL SAS JBOD expansion units and provide storage expansion up to 4.6PB, depending on the NAS model and configuration.
