It uses bidirectional wavelength-division multiplexing (BiDi) technology to transmit and receive data over a single fiber strand, helping reduce fiber infrastructure requirements.

Operating at 1330 nm transmit and 1270 nm receive wavelengths, this downstream transceiver features an LC connector, Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM), and a hot-swappable design. It is suitable for compatible Brocade switches and routers in enterprise networks and fiber infrastructure.
